The Marshes
The Marshes is a small picturesque lake featuring Lilly pads, island's and lots of quiet little corners. This 10 -12 peg lake holds plenty of roach and Rudd with a good head of Tench that go over 5lb. And, small carp with the odd bigger one, bream are also present.
Depths averaging 3- 4ft lends itself to pole tactics with the island's easily reachable.
Sign in the book before you start fishing. The lake rules and gate codes are printed on your tab.
Please note this lake is shut from October 1st until February 1st.
Getting to The Marshes Fishery
SN14 7PL
To reach The Marshes fishery head east on the B4039 through Burton you will see a sign on your left which is, a white sign with black dot on it. Turn left and go up to the farm yard. Go through the farm yard , then on your left you will see a gate. Go through the gate and turn immediate right, go along the track and over the motorway bridge and keep driving until you come to a lefthand bend in the track you will see the gate to our lake on the right. go through the gate along the track about 100m to the lake carpark gate .
